Guides & how it works

Quick walkthroughs for new viewers and creators on the SurfGaysVideo platform.

Getting started as a viewer

New to the site? Enter your date of birth at the age gate, and you are in. The home feed mixes the latest uploads with trending picks, and you can jump to a single channel any time using Categories, Tags, Creators, or the Trending leaderboard at the top of the page.

  1. Confirm you are 18+ at the age gate.
  2. Open a video from the home feed, Trending, or a category you like.
  3. Tap the heart to save it to your watchlist, or the tag and creator names to explore more.
  4. Use the search bar to find a specific keyword, creator, or theme.

Uploading your first video

Creators drive everything here. Uploading is free and takes a couple of minutes. Make sure you are 18+, that everyone on camera is a consenting adult, and that you have the right to share the footage.

  1. Create a free account and open your channel.
  2. Click Upload and choose a 16:9 scene or a 9:16 reel from your device.
  3. Add a clear title, description, category, and tags so viewers can find it.
  4. Publish — the clip is transcoded for streaming and appears in your channel instantly.

Video quality and formats

SurfGaysVideo streams in up to 4K and 1080p, plus 9:16 portrait reels designed for phones. The player automatically adapts to your connection and lets you switch quality when needed. Because uploads come from creators, quality varies from polished studio scenes to raw amateur clips — both are part of what makes the catalogue interesting.

Earning as a creator

Once your channel is live you can turn on monetisation. Viewers tip individual videos, you can lock select clips behind pay-per-view through a fan wallet, and you can buy promotion to surface a video at the top of the feed. Connected payment accounts handle payouts, and your creator studio reports every view, save, and tip in real time.

  1. Open your channel and connect a payout account.
  2. Enable tips and, if you like, set a clip as pay-per-view.
  3. Promote a release to reach more viewers for a chosen period.
  4. Track earnings in the creator studio and withdraw when you are ready.

Safety, age verification, and consent

Everything on the platform is 18+. Uploaders confirm that everyone on camera is a consenting adult, and the site keeps 2257-style records for hosted content. Viewers can report any upload in one click, rights holders can file a DMCA takedown, and moderation can hide or remove content at any time. If you are not 18, please leave the site.
