Frequently asked questions
Everything people ask about watching, uploading, and staying safe on SurfGaysVideo — answered in plain language.
Is SurfGaysVideo free to use?
Yes. Watching and uploading are free. There is no account required to browse or play videos, and no subscription wall on the free catalogue. Optional paid features exist only for creators who want tips, pay-per-view, or promotion.
Do I need to sign up to watch gay videos?
No. You can open the site, confirm you are 18+, and start watching immediately. Creating a free account is optional and only needed to save videos to a watchlist, tip creators, comment, or upload your own clips.
Are the videos really in 4K?
Many uploads are available in up to 4K and 1080p, depending on what the creator uploaded. The player automatically picks the best quality your connection can stream smoothly, and all clips are ad-light compared with mainstream tube sites.
Can I upload my own gay videos?
Yes. Any adult 18+ can publish original content to SurfGaysVideo for free. You keep ownership of your footage, build a public creator channel, and can enable monetisation such as tips, a fan wallet, pay-per-view clips, and paid promotion whenever you like.
Is everyone on the site over 18?
Yes. All performers were 18 or older at the time of filming. The platform keeps 2257-style records, enforces a strict age gate, and offers one-click reporting plus a DMCA process so any unlawful or non-consensual upload is removed quickly.
Is SurfGaysVideo the same as surfgayvideo.com?
No. SurfGaysVideo is a separate, independent platform and is not affiliated with surfgayvideo.com. The similar names cause confusion, but the two sites are unrelated and operated by different people.
Do I need an account to watch videos?
No. You can enter SurfGaysVideo, confirm you are 18+, and start watching right away without registering. A free account is only needed for extras like saving videos to a watchlist, commenting, tipping creators, or uploading your own clips.
What can I upload, and in what formats?
Adult creators 18+ can upload original gay video — widescreen 16:9 scenes or portrait 9:16 reels — in common formats up to 4K. The platform transcodes uploads for smooth streaming and shows the best quality your connection can handle.
How do creator payouts and tips work?
Viewers can tip any video, and creators can also sell pay-per-view clips through a fan wallet. SurfGaysVideo uses connected payment accounts for payouts, and a public creator studio shows views, tips, saves, and earnings so you always know how a clip is performing.
How do I report a video that breaks the rules?
Every video has a report option. Use it for anything involving a minor, non-consensual content, harassment, or a copyright problem. Reports go to moderation and are handled quickly, and rights holders can also file a formal DMCA takedown.
Is my privacy respected on the site?
You can browse and watch without an account. Where we do store data, it is to run the platform — accounts, subscriptions, and payouts — and we do not sell it. Details are in the Privacy Policy and 2257 notice linked in the footer.
